For brands, businesses and creators
Promote your product for one hour
Get your product featured on the HourDrop homepage for a full hour. One product owns the page at a time, and it has to bring a real discount.
The hour is paid placement, booked here in advance. You are not submitting your product to an editorial queue or competing for community votes. Bids start at $10, and a $100 lock takes an hour outright. A lock is yours the moment you pay; a bid takes the hour only if it is still on top when bidding closes.
Next open hour: Eastern time, from $10.
What you get when you book an HourDrop hour
Booking an HourDrop hour gets your product the whole homepage for that hour, and all of this comes with it:
- The hour. Your product alone on the page for its hour, with your image, your line and your discount. Approved during the hour, it goes up from then.
- The extension. After your hour, your drop stays on the screen until the next drop airs, however long that is.
- The schedule line. Your name and your hour on the calendar once the hour is yours: the moment you lock, or when bidding closes with your bid on top.
- The email. Your drop and its discount can go out to the list by email.
- Your numbers. Once your drop has aired, its page shows how many people pressed the go button, during the hour and after it, the flames it reached and how long it was on the screen.
How booking an hour works
You book an HourDrop hour by bidding on it or locking it outright, and an hour still empty inside its last day goes to whoever pays first.
| Way to book | Price | How the hour becomes yours |
|---|---|---|
| Bid | From $10, in $5 steps, below $100 | The top bid takes the hour when bidding closes, 24 hours before it begins. |
| Lock | $100 | Yours the moment you pay. Nobody can outbid a lock. |
| Last-day hour | $10 | An hour still empty when bidding closes goes to whoever pays first, until 3 hours before it starts. |
The calendar is open 7 days ahead on US Eastern time, and a new day opens every midnight Eastern. You sign in with a link sent to your email when you book, with no password. You are charged when you bid or buy, and raising a bid charges only the difference.
What discount do I need to offer?
Every HourDrop drop needs two real discounts: a VIP deal of at least 20% off during your hour, and a standard deal of at least 10% off, available after the VIP hour while the drop is still up, and never later than 24 hours from the hour’s start. Your standard code or link has to keep working for all 24 hours, because HourDrop can hand it out until then.
| Deal | At least | When it works |
|---|---|---|
| VIP | 20% off | During your hour. It has to beat the standard deal. |
| Standard | 10% off | After the VIP hour while the drop is still up, and never later than 24 hours from the hour’s start. |
Give them as two codes shoppers type at your checkout, or as two discount links on your own site or on a checkout or membership platform. HourDrop hands them out only when a shopper presses the go button, never in the page.
How much does it cost to promote something on HourDrop?
At launch prices, promoting something on HourDrop costs from $10 an hour: bids start at $10 and rise in $5 steps, and a $100 lock takes an hour outright.
An hour still empty inside its last day costs $10 to whoever pays first, until 3 hours before it starts. Both are launch prices and change when the launch period ends. The rules page dates every change and is the final word on prices.
What happens after I book?
After you book an HourDrop hour, you send in your drop and we review it.
- Send in your drop: a name, a title, one line, a link, one wide image and your two discounts. Only the name is needed to book: the rest can follow, up to the 24-hour line, or 6 hours before the hour if you booked inside the last day. A drop still unfinished by then is refunded in full and its hour goes to the other bids.
- We review it. A drop booked more than 24 hours ahead goes up only once we approve it, and one not approved before its hour ends is refunded in full.
- If we reject it, we tell you why and you can fix it once, within 6 hours or before its hour ends if that is sooner. If we reject the fix too, or it is not made in time, you are refunded in full.
- Once approved, your drop takes the homepage for its hour, from the moment we approve it if that is during the hour, and stays up until the next drop airs.
- After it airs, its page shows your numbers.
Until 24 hours before your hour, and until we approve it, you can change your drop or call the hour off for a full refund. An hour booked inside its last day can go up before we review it, and a drop taken down while it is up for breaking the rules is not refunded. Wait for our approval before you announce your hour.
What happens if I lose a bid?
If you lose a bid on HourDrop, you keep the money and pick what it does next: move it to an hour that amount leads, put it towards a lock on an hour still open to bidding and pay only the difference, or take it back as a full refund.
A losing bid left alone is refunded in full 10 days after its hour ends. If the drop that won an hour cannot go up after bidding closes, the other bids are offered that hour one at a time, highest first, for 2 hours each, until 12 hours before it begins.
What can I promote?
You can promote a product or a service on HourDrop, sold on its own site or through a checkout or membership platform, such as a store, a course, a paid newsletter or a membership, as long as it comes with a real discount.
Adult content, anything illegal and ads with no perk behind them are not allowed, and no discount link may be shortened, redirected or put on a social or link-in-bio page. A link that phishes or deceives gets whoever booked it banned for good. The rules have the full list.

Pick an hour, bring a real discount, and HourDrop gives your product the whole homepage for it.
